Deputy Director-MLE

Emily Das as Deputy Director, MLE leads the monitoring and evaluation of The Challenge Initiative (TCI) in India. She is a senior program researcher with more than 18 years of experience in planning and implementation of M&E activities of various projects relating to MNCHN programs in India. Trained as a demographer with a Ph.D. degree from IIPS, Mumbai, she is skilled at designing large-scale sample surveys, processing and managing cross-sectional and longitudinal data on population, health and nutrition. She has a proven track record in promoting timely availability and use of data and research findings for program decision making and advocacy efforts. Prior to coming to PSI India in 2018, Emily worked as Deputy Director-MLE at Abt Associates and Technical Advisor-MLE at IntraHealth International, where she was responsible for the design and implementation of all monitoring and research components of various MNCHN projects. She has substantial experience on working with web-based MIS using ICT for routine analysis of project monitoring data.
