Mukesh Kumar Sharma
Mukesh Kumar Sharma, Executive Director, PSI India is a multi-faceted professional with strong expertise in program management, knowledge management and organizational development. He possesses a wealth of knowledge on reproductive health, urban health and, maternal and child health issues and is a much-acclaimed Urban Health specialist. In his 20-years of professional journey, he has worked with several renowned organizations such as FHI360 under Urban Health Initiative project, Urban Health Resource Centre and CARE international.

He is an MBA graduate with a degree in Rural Development and has secured many academic awards including a university gold medal from IGNOU for securing the first position across India. He has authored and presented several papers in multiple countries on issues related to family planning, MNCH and urban health on various platforms. He is the first winner of the PSI Global Andrew Boner award, winner of Good to Great leadership award and has worked in All India Radio and Doordarshan too.

Mukesh joined PSI India in 2015 and led Expand Access and Quality (EAQ) to Broaden Method project for two years. He moved to steward The Challenge Initiative for Healthy Cities as its Chief of Party. He is worldly-wise; his people-oriented leadership style has made him popular among his team, staff and all others who work with him.
Bhaskar Chandra Belwal
Bhaskar Belwal is multi-talented professional dabbling in Information Technology, MIS, Procurement, Administration, Finance and Accounts too. He joined PSI India in 2001 and has grown with PSI overseeing the successes and transformation of PSI from 2001.

Before joining PSI, he worked with IT companies briefly. He is an engineering graduate in Computer Science and Engineering from Kanpur University and owing to his fast-paced learning ability has perfected many skills in administration and other departments over the period. At present, he is Director – Finance and IT Systems for PSI India.

Bhaskar is a family man and a doting father to two girls.
Samarendra Behera
Samarendra Behera is State Lead for Uttar Pradesh and provides operational direction to teams across PSI India. He is a development professional with over 17 years of experience and expertise in program management, government liaising and organizational development. He is skilled and possess hands-on-knowledge of working on reproductive health, urban health, maternal and child health issues. Prior to PSI India, he has worked with several renowned organizations such as FHI360 under Urban Health Initiative (UHI) project and CARE international. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management with degree in Rural Development. He is blessed with two daughters and loves to experiment with his culinary skills and cook for his family during his leisure time.
Hitesh Sahni
Hitesh Sahni, Associate Director Programs, India brings a vast experience of 25 years working in various health domains, currently managing the operations of The Challenge Initiative for Healthy Cities (TCIHC) in India. Under this role, he provides strategic direction to the team for executing and scaling up proven high impact approaches to attain sustainable results through the TCIHC program.

In the past, he has successfully led an operational research program on NCDs in both rural and urban India through a consortium of partners. He also managed a tuberculosis program in various geographies in India, with a special focus on access and adherence to treatment and medicines.

He is an MBA graduate and a certified six sigma black belt with rich experience in process and quality improvement projects. Before joining PSI, Hitesh was working with Eli Lilly and Company in various roles cutting across sales and marketing, partnerships management, six sigma black belt and international business.
Sanjay Singh
Sanjay Singh holds degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Education. With more than two and half decades of experience, Sanjay is a well-known Water and Sanitation expert in the sector. He started his career as a Construction Engineer and moved on to a World Bank aided Nation’s first community-based Rural Water and Sanitation project as a Portfolio Manager. He continued his journey working as an Engineer (Drinking Water) State Water and Sanitation Mission, Government of Uttar Pradesh and as a Specialist (Water Conservation and Community Management) with the Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

He championed many pathbreaking ideas such as ‘Pan in Van for sustainable sanitation promotion’, ‘Wisewater Management’ for improved toilet usage in tribal areas, Fluoride mitigation programs and ‘Multi-District Assessment of Water Safety’ etc. during his association with UNICEF.

Sanjay Singh holds the position of Director of Programs and working with PSI India for the last eight years. His first-ever venture with PSI was the rural Sanitation program in Bihar, which is considered as one of the four most successful Market-Based Sanitation interventions globally. Besides, he has played a key role in expanding PSI India’s sanitation portfolio in other states and he contributes significantly in various other critical areas of the organization.
Sanjeev Kumar Srivastava
Sanjeev Srivastava is Head of Human Resources and Administration at PSI India. In his role, he focuses on making PSI India an exceptional place to work by optimizing talent programs, creating an enabling environment and building dynamic people capability thereby enabling projects to deliver at Scale and with Speed and Quality. He has been instrumental in the design and implementation of PSI India’s talent architecture, as well as organisations total rewards, talent supply chain and talent development programs.

Sanjeev in his stint of around 18 years in the domain of human resource, has worked with various corporates including Fullerton India, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, Nucleus Software and SQL Star.

Sanjeev holds a Master’s in Human Resources and lives in Delhi NCR with his spouse and a daughter. He likes to travel and keep himself fit.
